Dodo Mountain is often described as a sacred mountain.  It is part of the Polar Urals which divide Eastern-European Russia from Northwest Kazakhstan.  It is a minerologically-rich area, although mining there is restricted to a very few short months of the year.  The entire range is rugged and snow-covered all year.  Thus the material from here is rare and precious.  There is one additional piece of information in that many of the miners report seeing blue lights from these mines.  Quartz is piezoelectric meaning that it emits energy when under pressure – that’s why quartz crystals work in your watch.  This pressure can also come from the heat of your hand and the flow of your energy.  Thus, these mines are registering earth movements and energies in this light show.  When I got this shipment, I was amazed at the crystals – they are Herkimer like in their radiance and profound energy.  It was extraordinary to “play” with each as I unwrapped!  What beauties!
